Ellsoft was formed in April 2004 from the software
group of Energy Link Ltd. The parent company
was founded in 1996 to meet the needs of energy traders facing increased risk in
the deregulating New Zealand electricity market. Today, after years of steady growth,
Energy Link is:
- A respected independent provider of forecasting, modelling and consulting services
- A provider of professional training services to deregulated electricity markets
Ellsoft is a developer of risk management and
market simulation software for electricity traders. Our software has been used successfully
by the New Zealand Government, state-owned enterprises, electricity market organisations
and major New Zealand and Singapore generators. The company operates with eight
permanent employees from offices in Dunedin, New Zealand. Our particular strengths
